Dr Claire is just amazing! I don’t think there is a more knowledgeable, talented and punctual doctor in Sarasota. I wish he did house call surgeries but, he doesn’t. I am so happy with the outcome of my surgery. He corrected mistakes that a different surgeon made on my foot 4 years earlier. It has been 2 weeks since my surgery and from the first day I have noticed improvements that I thought I would never know again. I feel all 5 of my toes for the first time in 4 years. I went to Dr. Michael Clate at the strong insistence of my new primary care physician. I had already scheduled a fusion with another doctor in town, but when Dr. Clare looked at me and looked at my images, he said I didn’t need a fusion. Dr. Clare is the " bomb". He takes so much time explaining, evaluating, examining my Foot and ankle. He isn't one to jump into surgery, he tries alternate options. I would never consider any other foot and ankle dr. I drive from Clearwater, Fl to Lakewood Ranch, which takes a little over an hour judt to get the best care. Very attentive staff and doctor. I explained to them that I was on the spectrum and I can communicate a little odd at times. Not only did they help calm me down on a rough morning a couple weeks after my mom died but we're easy to talk to and understanding. I don't need to be babied or treated special. I just need to be able to communicate. They listened They didn't debate or argue or dismiss me. I was welcomed and understood. Oh yeah and I almost forgot on top of that, the doctor is extremely knowledgeable and damn good at his job! For the first time in a while I felt safe at the doctor's office and felt like I was starting a plan to feel better that may actually have a good outcome. Thank you so much!♥️Alysia

Dr Clare has always been a very caring doctor to me and has always taken the time to explain what’s going on. This was my first and hopefully only surgery with Dr Clare. He did a fantastic job and was very thorough in explaining what he saw once he got into the surgery. He had to fix a mess from a previous surgery that I had prior to moving here. I saw Dr. Clare for a 2nd opinion about a surgery another Dr. wanted me to have. Dr. Clare is friendly and very good at explaining things in a way I could understand. He didn’t rush me - I was able to ask all the questions I needed to ask. He made me more confident about the surgery, but gave me alternatives if I didn’t want to do the surgery. This is my first office visit with Dr. Michael Clare. He was professional and thorough. He made sure that X-rays were taken of all angles of my feet and ankles.
